MS Benefit Concert 2015

This weekend we played at Britannia Arms in Cupertino. It feels like homebase, as we have played there in several different times as several differnt versions of the band. This particular show was put together by Lois Tarter (Juliana's mom) to help raise awareness and money for the MS Foundation. Many local establishments donated to the cause including Aqui, Islands Restaurant, Cicero's Pizza, Guitar Showcase, 4EverFit, and more.

The lineup was great, the show started off with a great cover band called Cadilac Jack who are good friends of ours. After that was the energetic amazingly entertaining Dope Collective - a ska/alt/hip-hop band, also good friends of ours. We have been playing with members of the band since we started so it was really fun to get to play with them again, they're very talented musicians. That was hard act to follow! We filled our time with mostly originals and one Van Halen/Kinks cover to start out set off. Be sure to check out some of our videos from that night, thank you Ron Dawg for taping. Our friend Alvaro came and taped us as well, which we will be posting sometime in the next few weeks. Patryk Derosa played a killer instrumental set after that, shredding it up on his 7 string guitar. Our good friend Paul of 12 Steps to Nothing and Ghost Town Hangmen closed the show with a nice mellow acoustic punk set featuring a cool cover of 20 Eyes by the Misfits which he dedicated to Juliana.
